Three Photographic Projects from Ture Lillegraven

Yesterday our photo editor Amy Wolff handed over this nice softcover promo book by editorial and commercial photographer Ture Lillegraven. The 5 3/4- by 8 1/4-inch edition of 1000 collects images from three of Lillegraven’s assignments: a commission from SPIN to shoot Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon at a house in Wisconsin; a commission from GQ to photograph Aziz Ansari, James Murphy and David Chang on a trip to Tokyo; and a commission from the Thomspon Hotels to photograph the band Milo Greene in Big Sur, CA.The book is about 80 pages, printed on quality uncoated stock. Lillegraven includes a short intro/explanation to each project, and the cover image, which wraps front to back, shows two guys dancing. On the back it says “Dance your ass off.” A nice touch.
